Neutron Grants Program Batch #6 — Web3FC Cosmos HackerHouse (Barcelona)

Thesis

We have decided to award the Web3FC team a grant of up to $10,000 and a further $10,000 in Hackathon-related prizes as part of their effort to run their Cosmos Hackerhouse in Barcelona between December 2 and 8. The Web3FC has successfully hosted a vast array of events within our industry. It is well-primed to run this Hackerhouse, which will involve four Neutron-specific workshops and four paths for hackathon-related bounties.

Summary

Web3FC is an organization that has successfully run several conferences and programs within the Cosmos and Crypto in general. This Hackerhouse will happen over six days in Barcelona. This seven-day-long event will offer a dynamic mix of coworking, networking, workshops, talks, panels, fireside chats, brainstorming sessions, and hacking. ​The first five days will be an open coworking space where you can keep working on your job as usual while attending activities when you can—the last two days are for the hackathon.

Grant Deliverables

The deliverables are as follows:

• Successful running of the Web3 Family Cosmos Hackathon in Barcelona in December

For Milestone 1 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Completion of all preparations for the Web3 Family Hacker House event

For Milestone 2 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Following the event, the remaining amount will be paid to hackathon winners on the Neutron track

Grant Payment Terms

• Upfront Payment: $5,000 USDC
• Milestone 1 Payment: $5,000 USDC
• Milestone 2 Payment: $10,000 USDC
