Neutron Grants Program Batch #6 — Vendetta Markets

Thesis

We have decided to award the Vendetta Markets team a grant of up to $40,000 to build and launch Vendetta Markets, a prediction market for esports, on Neutron. The Vendetta team, led by André and Gustavo from Astroport, have extensive experience building within the Cosmos and on Neutron, and we believe that they are a more than capable team to launch this exciting product on Neutron. Furthermore, Vendetta presents an interesting chance to attract users who wouldn't usually use crypto or Neutron.

Summary

Vendetta Markets is a prediction market for esports, with the vision of growing to support any sport and then eventually any market. The goal with vendetta is to cater to gamers initially as well as any type of trader, both of whom may be typically seen as "Web2" users. It will abstract any notions of a "blockchain" with a big focus on user onboarding.

For Milestone 2 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Vendetta Markets reaching $1M in total bet volume and $10,000 in total fees

Grant Payment Terms

• Upfront Payment: $15,000 USDC
• Milestone 1 Payment: $15,000 USDC
• Milestone 2 Payment: $10,000 USDC
