Thesis

We have decided to award the Obi team a grant of up to $25,000 to build and publish developer courses for learning CosmWasm. We believe this will help onboard the next generation of application developers to Neutron.

Summary

Obi is a platform for launching smart accounts and simplifying the process of interacting with blockchains such as Neutron. The Obi team previously had experience launching developer courses within the Terra ecosystem, which means they have the required skills to launch these courses successfully. The courses will be available for free on YouTube and Thinkific, starting with the first course, "Quick Start & Rust for Smart Contracts."

Grant Deliverables

The deliverables are as follows:

• Development and launch of the Neutron CosmWasm Developer Course

For Milestone 1 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Completion of course 2

For Milestone 2 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Completion of course 3

For Milestone 3 completion, the criteria are as follows:

• Additional buffer for courses 1-3 or subsequent courses to cover co-funding shortfall

Grant Payment Terms

• Upfront Payment: $6,250 USDC
• Milestone 1 Payment: $6,250 USDC
• Milestone 2 Payment: $6,250 USDC
• Milestone 3 Payment: $6,250 USDC

Additional Conditions

Funding amounts are built on the assumption of at least one co-founder per course (given each course costs $12,500). The amounts therefore can be adjusted to account for changes in co-funding amount insofar as the total funding amount remains as $25,000.
